It's that time of year again to be thankful and give back to the wonderful community of hackers that helped you learn and grow. Join us for a celebration of gratitude this weekend at this hackathon!
As always, we'll be running mini-events, workshops, and more to keep you entertained. While we'd love to have you build something on the theme, our themes are only here for inspiration. Please build whatever you'd like!
Eligibility
This event open to hackers, all over the world. While we primarily work with student hackers or those who have graduated within the last 12 months. Working professional are also welcome to join us. Students can include high school students, university undergraduate or postgraduate students, and people who are in vocational training such as apprenticeships.
As per our Code of Conduct, there is no discrimination on the basis of race, religion, national origin, color, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, social class, economic status, veteran status, disability, or age.
Requirements
- We require all teams to submit a 2 minute or less demo video.
- Your video must be created the weekend of the hackathon.
- Your code must be available in some sort of public repository.
- We do allow you to submit your project to other hackathons (this weekend only) as long as the other hackathon also allows this.
- If you're continuing work on an old project, you MUST specify in your Devpost what was worked on 1) before the hackathon and 2) during the hackathon.

Best Use of CockroachDB
Build your hackathon project on CockroachDB's open source and indestructible SQL database. PostgreSQL compatible and easy to use. Utilize CockroachDB in your hack for a chance to win a 3D printing pen for each team member. What's more, ALL projects submitted that use CockroachDB will receive a free t-shirt!
